"Effective Screening Procedures for Staff & Volunteers, or How to Prevent Becoming a Statistic"
presented by Steve Durie.

Steve is President of TRAK-1.com, a background check firm that focuses on helping companies including approximately 1000 non-profits & churches with pre-employment issues. Bring people responsible for hiring in your congregation!

 

The Mile High Chapter is a national leader in providing Continuing Education Credit in the form of units (CEU) and certification for its members. The 2004-2005 program offers a diversity of programs and speakers. CEU's are presented throughout the year.

Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month at:
Most Precious Blood Catholic Church
(just off I-25 at 2200 S.Colorado Blvd.)

8 am - Fellowship/breakfast
(free to members)
8:45 am -Business Meeting
9:00 am - Program for the Month

Non-members pay $10.
Once a year we bring in a significant speaker for a six hour workshop. We do not charge extra to support this part of our program.

"The Discipline of Planning/A Model and a Direction"
presented by.June Twinam.

How often have you heard yourself asking-or been asked, "What's the plan?" June, an independent consultant who specializes in strategic planning, will assist us in identifying when it's important to be "on top of" planning, and how do it well. She has developed and taught college curriculum and is one of our chapter's favorites. Bring those responsible for short and long-term planning!

 

 

The National Association of Church Business Administration
(NACBA) is…

A nationwide organization of Christian Business Administrators who have joined together to meet, share ideas, goals and problems of our common profession.

The national association offers professional
credentials through a certification program, helpful management resources and an annual national conference. Membership in the national association creates professional awareness, establishes and enhances professional identity.

Upon joining the Mile High Chapter, a brochure describing the National Association of Church Business Administration will be mailed to you. We strongly encourage membership in the local chapter and our national organization.
